The Opportunity:

At Flynn’s Italian, guests come together over generous food, Italian wine and cocktails worth lingering over. We’re looking for a Food & Beverage Guide with strong bartending skills to help bring that experience to life.

We’re seeking a Food & Beverage Guide with strong bartending skills to join our team. From preparing cocktails and recommending the perfect drink to welcoming guests and delivering attentive table service, you’ll help make every visit feel relaxed, memorable and distinctly Flynn’s Italian.

This role is offered a part-time, permanent basis with an expected 8-16 hours per week.

The Talent:

You know a great night out is about more than what’s on the plate! You enjoy the pace of a busy restaurant, can make a cocktail guests will come back for, and have a knack for knowing when someone needs a recommendation or a little extra attention.

You’ll bring:

• Experience in food and beverage service, ideally in a restaurant, hotel or busy venue
• Strong bartending skills and confidence preparing a range of cocktails
• A genuine interest in food and drinks, with the ability to make thoughtful recommendations
• A warm, engaging manner and the confidence to work across the bar and dining room
• A team-first approach and an eye for the details that make service run smoothly
• A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
• Availability across a seven-day roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
• Wine knowledge, barista skills or a Certificate III in Hospitality would be a bonus.
