Wined Bar Manager

The National Wine Centre of Australia (NWC) is one of Adelaide’s leading hospitality venues situated in the vibrant East End of the CBD. Located in Adelaide’s vibrant East End, close to the emerging Lot Fourteen precinct, the NWC is surrounded by the green spaces of the Adelaide Botanic Gardens and parklands.

The NWC is a showcase and focal point for Australia’s wine industry and as such, it has become a beloved landmark for food and wine lovers across the country who have engaged in the range of wine tourism and event experiences on offer.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Wined Bar Manager to lead our front-of-house team and help shape the next chapter of one of Adelaide’s unique food and wine destinations.

About Wined Bar

Wined Bar is at the heart of the visitor experience at the National Wine Centre. Open seven days a week, it offers quality food, wine and coffee in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

The outlet is also closely connected to our tourism experience, including the National Wine Centre’s Tasting Room, featuring more than 120 Australian wines. This makes Wined Bar an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to combine strong hospitality leadership with a genuine interest in wine and tourism.

What you’ll be responsible for

• Leading the day-to-day operation of Wined Bar and setting a high standard for service, presentation and guest experience.
• Building, motivating and developing a strong front-of-house team through training, coaching and leading by example.
• Working closely with the Kitchen, Tourism, Events and Sommelier teams to deliver a connected and consistent guest experience.
• Identifying opportunities to improve the customer experience, productivity and commercial performance of Wined Bar.

The Wined Bar’s current trading hours are:

• Monday to Thursday – 8:30am–5pm
• Friday – 8:30am–8pm
• Saturday – 9am–6pm
• Sunday – 9am–5pm
