Bar Conte is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Trade Waiter to join their team in Sydney CBD.
Full Job Description Located in Sydney CBD, NSW 2000, Bar Conte – Clarence Street is an Italian restaurant and Negroni Bar offering contemporary Italian dining alongside an extensive selection of cocktails and wines. The restaurant is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Trade Waiter to join their team.
Key Responsibilities

• Providing professional table service and taking food and beverage orders.
• Providing guests with information about menu items, dishes, wines and beverages.
• Serving food and beverages while maintaining professional service standards.
• Preparing tables for service and clearing tables throughout service.
• Maintaining cleanliness and presentation throughout the dining area.
• Liaising with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate service.
• Processing customer payments accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Monitoring guest satisfaction and responding professionally to customer enquiries and service-related concerns.
• Maintaining high standards of presentation and customer service throughout each shift.
• Complying with food safety, hygiene, Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA), and workplace health and safety requirements.

About You

• At least 1 year of relevant experience as a Trade Waiter or in a similar professional food and beverage service role.
• Strong knowledge of professional food and beverage service procedures.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to provide attentive and professional table service.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently during busy restaurant service periods.
• Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen, bar and front-of-house team members.
• Well-presented, reliable and committed to delivering high-quality customer service.
• Appropriate NSW RSA competency where required for the service of alcohol.

Salary: AUD $70,000 – $90,000 per annum
