Spanning 1.8 million acres across the stunning East MacDonnell Ranges, Ambalindum offers a genuine remote station lifestyle. About the Roles
As our team continues to evolve, we are looking to hire a Station Cook and a Bore Runner as individuals or a couple. Hewitt presents an exciting opportunity for someone seeking a career in a challenging yet rewarding environment, working amongst a highly professional, industry-leading team.
The roles present the opportunity to live on-site and immerse yourself in the business. Reporting directly to Station Management, you will be a driven and committed team player who is focused on progressing their career.

This is a hands-on role cooking hearty, home-style meals for around 5-6 people in a friendly, family-style station environment.

Maintain bores, troughs & water points to keep livestock healthy Service equipment & fences Monitor stock & report any issues Jump in to help across the property when needed – no two days are the same!

Honest, reliable, and self-sufficient – someone who takes initiative/gets things done Able to follow instructions, work safely, and handle physical work Comfortable living remotely and embracing the rhythm of station life Handy with tools and equipment – or eager to learn! A natural troubleshooter who communicates effectively and confidently
