We bring the charm of Italy to the heart of the city, with a focus on simple, honest dishes executed exceptionally well. Our menu is rooted in tradition — Italian snacks, daily specials, and comforting classics — all designed to pair beautifully with our curated cocktail list and Italian varietal-driven cellar. Every wine is available by the glass.

We’re on the lookout for passionate Section Waiters with wine service experience to join our team and help deliver an affordable yet premium dining experience that celebrates flavour, hospitality, and heart.

Please note that this role will be casual to begin with. Full time will be offered to the right candidate.

Essential Requirements

  • Full Australian working rights
  • Fluent English (spoken and written)
  • Valid NSW RSA
  • 1–3 years’ experience in premium dining as a Section Waiter and/or Diploma hospitality studies
  • Strong ability to build rapport and remember guests
  • Confident using POS systems
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Excellent attention to detail and grooming standards
  • Strong communication skills
  • Commitment to delivering memorable guest experiences
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays required

Bonus Points

  • Italian food & wine knowledge
  • Food and wine pairing experience
  • Experience with SevenRooms or similar reservation platforms
  • Italian language skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage your section during service and ensure a seamless guest experience
  • Prepare the restaurant for service, ensuring your section is fully set, stocked, and clean
  • Provide menu recommendations and confidently explain dishes and concepts
  • Offer food and beverage pairing suggestions
  • Accurately take and manage orders using POS
  • Check and manage dietary requirements
  • Maintain clear communication with FOH and BOH teams
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly
  • Ensure bill accuracy and professional presentation
  • Process cash and card payments
