The Opportunity: 

As a Kitchen Steward you will play an essential role in the smooth running of our kitchens. You will maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all culinary spaces, supporting our chefs before, during and after service. Your responsibilities will include washing dishes, utensils and equipment, caring for kitchen machinery, maintaining spotless work areas, and ensuring all back-of-house spaces operate efficiently. You will also assist with deliveries, stock organisation, waste disposal and general cleaning tasks to keep our kitchens functioning at their best. 

This is a part-time, permanent opportunity, typically offering 3–5 shifts per week, primarily across evening service.

The Talent: 

To be successful in this role, you will take pride in creating a safe, clean and well-organised kitchen environment. You will be proactive, fast-moving and comfortable working in a high-volume setting while following hygiene and safety protocols. 

You will bring: 

  • Previous experience as a kitchen steward or similar position preferred, but not essential 
  • Experience using a commercial dishwasher and cleaning equipment 
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures 
  • Understanding of hygiene, sanitation and food safety standards 
  • The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment 
  • Availability across nights, weekends and rotating shifts 
  • A willingness to support chefs and fellow stewards across a variety of tasks 
  • Food Safety Certification, or willingness to obtain
