Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of food items as directed by the kitchen staff
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas
  • Wash and sanitise kitchen utensils, equipment, and dishes
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Support chefs during busy service periods
  • Stock and replenish kitchen supplies as needed
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is preferred
  • Basic food hygiene certification is an advantage
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
