Hospitality Cleaning and Laundry Services - LCC 36.25 hours

The Position

Based at Lefroy Care Centre, your role as a Cleaner and Laundry is to ensure our aged care facility is a safe, spotless, and welcoming space for residents. Through attentive cleaning and care, you’ll help create an environment that feels like home. This is a permanent part-time role offering 36.25 hours per fortnight.

Week 1

Monday: 07:30-11:15 (Cleaning), 11:45-14:45 (Laundry)

Friday: 08:00-14:30 (Cleaning)

Sunday: 07:30-11:15 (Cleaning), 11:45-14:45 (Laundry)

Week 2

Monday: 07:30-11:15 (Cleaning), 11:45-14:45 (Laundry)

Friday: 08:00-14:30 (Cleaning)

Sunday: 08:30-12:30 (Laundry)

Key responsibilities:

• Demonstrates competent time management techniques in cleaning routine
• Vacuums, sweeps, dusts and mops all designated areas
• Follows cleaning schedule
• Maintains appropriate resident interactions in line with the organisational values
• Considers resident lifestyles and personal choice
• Maintains effective interpersonal relationships
• Manage laundry routines in line with the laundry schedule

Essential Criteria:

• Evidence Current Flu vaccinations per Amana Living policies
• Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6-months validity)
• Successful completion of pre-employment medical and reference checks
• NDIS clearance (or willingness to obtain)
• Proven organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team, as required
• Willingness to attend 1 day paid induction at our Rivervale Training Institute
