At Little Bang Brewing Co., we like our food the same way we like our beer: bold, creative, full of flavour, and never boring.

We’re looking for a Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and bring fresh energy to our food offering in Stepney. This role is perfect for someone who can balance creativity with consistency, lead a team without losing their cool, and build a menu that pairs beautifully with our proudly weird and wonderful craft beers.

About the Role

As Head Chef, you’ll be the driving force behind the kitchen, creating memorable food experiences that match the Little Bang vibe. You’ll lead the team, shape the menu, manage the day-to-day kitchen operations, and keep standards high without killing the fun.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Designing seasonal, creative menus that suit our customers, our beers, and our slightly offbeat personality
• Leading smooth and efficient kitchen operations
• Training, supporting and motivating the kitchen team
• Keeping food quality, presentation and consistency on point
• Managing food costs, stock control and wastage
• Working closely with the front-of-house team to deliver great service
• Maintaining food safety, hygiene and compliance standards
• Keeping an eye on food trends, beer pairings and new ideas that keep things fresh

About You

You’ll bring:

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or senior kitchen leader
• Strong food safety and hygiene knowledge
• Great leadership skills and the ability to build a positive team culture
• Confidence working in a fast-paced hospitality environment
• Creativity, organisation and a genuine love of good food
• An interest in beer, flavour pairing and fun hospitality experiences
• A calm head under pressure, because kitchens are dramatic enough already
