Role Description

This is a Casual full-time, on-site role for a Ground Stabilisation Specialist. Eligible for Permanency after a probation period.

The right team member will be responsible for executing cementitious and chemical injection processes and waterproofing solutions in various projects around Australia. We have locations around Australia however this will be a FIFO role working on sites all over the country. 

Day-to-day tasks include conducting site assessments, designing and executing stabilization plans, ensuring compliance with safety and engineering standards, and collaborating with geotechnical engineers and other team members. The role requires extensive fieldwork and meticulous documentation of all activities and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in ground consolidation and waterproofing methods
• RIW course completed would be advantageous
• Proficiency in conducting site assessments and designing stabilisation plans
• Knowledge of safety standards and compliance in mining, tunnelling, and construction sectors
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work on-site on a roster basis
• Previous experience in the mining or construction industry is advantageous
• Concrete remediation and coatings experience is an advantage.
• Concrete pumping and shotcrete
• Drilling experience is advantageous
• Trade qualified advantageous
• EWP and other high-risk licences

Remuneration 

Pay rates and remuneration structure is based upon skill set and experience. We are currently looking for all levels of experience. 

Licences mandatory: White card, Full driver’s licence

Licences/Tickets preferred: RIW, W@H, Confined Space, Standard 11 Surface, Dogman, EWP Over 11m, EWP Under 11m, HR drivers’ licence, Forklift, Telehandler, Excavator, Skidsteer, S123, G9, Trade Qualified- Carpenters

Medical

You will be required to pass a pre-employment medical and Functional Assessment prior to commencing. You will also be required to complete a rail Cat 3 medical for any Rail Industry sites, and possibly a Coal Board medical if tending to a Mine Site.
