Full Time Senior Barista - National Portrait Gallery - Canberra

The Fresh Collective is looking for an experienced Barista All Rounder to join our team inside the iconic National Portrait Gallery.

Think exhibition crowds, weekend tourism, gallery events, busy lunch rushes, and a team that knows how to move.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-volume environments, takes pride in clean workflow, and can deliver consistently excellent coffee while keeping service sharp, efficient, and professional.

The role:

• Deliver consistently excellent coffee
• Provide warm, confident customer service
• Take orders and manage POS
• Support FOH operations (running food, clearing, service flow)
• Keep your workspace sharp and service-ready
• Assist with gallery functions and events

You’ll bring:

• 1+ years’ barista experience in a busy café
• Strong knowledge of extraction, milk texturing and workflow
• Calm, efficient service under pressure
