Role Purpose:

We are seeking a new Food & Beverage Supervisor to work alongside a passionate and supportive hotel team in our Conferencing and Events department. Reporting to the Conference and Events Operations Manager, your passion is people, good food and creating great vibes as you facilitate the event needs of our clients. You will assist in leading the team and creating a conferencing and event experiences that keeps our guest wanting more. 

You will collaborate with our guests and Collaborators by: 

• Creating an outstanding employment experience for the Food and Beverage Collaborators 
• Providing a warm and genuine service experience 
• Anticipating and responding to tricky requests & concerns in a professional and timely manner and coaching your team to do the same. 
• Taking an active interest in providing on-the-job coaching and training to the Food & Beverage Attendants. 

Responsibilities:

You will collaborate with our guests and Collaborators by: 

• Creating an outstanding employment experience for the Food and Beverage Collaborators 
• Providing a warm and genuine service experience 
• Anticipating and responding to tricky requests & concerns in a professional and timely manner and coaching your team to do the same. 
• nsuring the smooth execution of event operations across events at Crystalbrook Flynn and Crystalbrook Bailey under the direction of the Event Operations Manager
• Taking an active interest in providing on-the-job coaching and training to the Food & Beverage Attendants. 

Skills and experience:

We are looking for a skilled and ambitious restaurant and/or events supervisor who can display: 

• Considerable experience in working in conferencing and event execution  
• Previous events, restaurant or bar supervisory experience 
• Demonstrated passion for the hospitality industry and speciality in high quality service. 
• Great attention to detail, being one step ahead of guests needs. 
• In-depth knowledge of sequence of service and product knowledge.  
• The passion to take on other ad-hoc duties as required 
• Ability to prioritise & work in fast-paced environment being able to keep high standards of service.  
• Friendly and confident communication skills.   
• QLD RSA essential 
• Available across various shifts including weekends, evenings and public holidays 
• Able to commit for a minimum of 6 months
