Location
This iconic Resort is situated between the renowned Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest in Tropical North Queensland. The resort comprises of 295 guest rooms, suites and villas.
Department
Sheraton Mirage Port Douglas Resort is seeking a Food and Beverage Attendant – Banquets to join our Team. We're looking for someone who is ready to go beyond in everything they do. This is a great opportunity for local residents with all training provided for people with a genuine drive to improve your life and the lives of those around you.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Assist all guests with menu, dietary requirements and recommendations
- Ensure accuracy with requests, orders and service delivery
- Use of POS system
- Ensure all service areas are immaculate
- Maintain standards of hygiene and food handling
- Provide food and beverage service in line with Marriott brand standards to our Conference Guests.
- Assist in room set up for Conferences, Events, Tradeshows, meetings and other events
- Clear and rest tables and ensure service areas are clean and tidy
To be successful in these positions you will need to possess the following minimum requirements:
- Able to work a 7 day a week rotating roster
- Immaculate grooming standards
- Strong communication skills & attention to detail
- Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate of Attainment
