About Us

This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and exciting environment, The Q, home of Queensland Greyhound Racing. The Q, a new state of the art greyhound racing facility in Purga, situated on the outskirts of Ipswich. The facility includes 3 separate race tracks, a community club complete with a 350-seat restaurant, sports bar, a gaming room with 60 machines.

The Club is committed to fostering a family-friendly and balanced workplace, offering flexibility in work arrangements to support personal commitments.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service with a positive attitude
• Serve food and beverages in the bar and dining areas
• Assist guests with gaming machine use and general queries
• Maintain cleanliness and uphold hygiene standards
• Ensure all operations follow safety and compliance guidelines
• Collaborate with your team to ensure seamless daily operations

Qualifications & experience

• Previous experience in hospitality or club settings is ideal
• Current RSA & RSG certifications (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and in a fast-paced environment
• Great communication skills and a team-first mindset
• Enthusiasm to learn and grow with a new and exciting venue
