We're on the hunt for a hands-on Duty Manager to join the team at Grafton Hotel. Whether you're already in a similar role or you're an experienced hospitality professional ready to take the next step, we'd love to hear from you.
As a Duty Manager, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the venue, leading from the front, supporting the team, and ensuring our guests receive great service every time they visit.
• Opening and closing the venue
• Supporting the day-to-day operations across the venue
• Leading, supervising and developing team members
• Delivering exceptional customer service and resolving guest concerns
• Ensuring compliance across gaming, liquor licensing and venue operations
• Cash handling, banking procedures, till reconciliations and safe counts
• Supporting a positive and productive team culture
• Previous experience in a Duty Manager, Supervisor or similar hospitality leadership role; or
• Strong pub hospitality experience across food & beverage, bar and gaming, with a desire to step into a leadership position
• A hands-on approach and willingness to lead by example
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Availability to work a flexible roster across days, nights, weekends and public holidays
What you'll need:
RSA, RSG, RMLV and Approved Manager Licence (or ability to obtain), along with a passion for hospitality and leading teams.
