About the Centre
The North Melbourne Recreation Centre (NMRC) is an important community facility, managed by YMCA Victoria in partnership with City of Melbourne. The Centre is designed to provide the local community with a range of recreational, social, cultural and educational experiences. In addition to the Recreation Centre, the Centre Manager will also oversee the management and operation of the North Melbourne Outdoor (Seasonal) Pool (NMOP). The pool is located approximately 200m from the Recreation Centre
About the Role
As a Duty Manager, you will have delegated authority of the Centre Manager, and will maintain a broad knowledge of centre programs and services whilst at the same time managing a range of centre functions whilst on shift which may include;
This is a casual position with an hourly rate up to $40.38 + Super & Y Benefits.
About You
As a Duty Manager you will act as positive role model in an effort to build strong people, strong families and strong communities, as well as identifying potential risk factors and taking steps to reduce those risks. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children, young people and all facility users.
