We are Great Place to Work® Certified for three consecutive years, recognising our ongoing commitment to our people and workplace culture.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day cleaning operations at our client site in Windsor, QLD. We are looking for someone who is available to commence as soon as possible.

This is a hands-on leadership role, and the successful candidate will be expected to actively participate in cleaning duties as required, while also overseeing the broader housekeeping operation. You will lead by example, maintain cleaning standards on the floor, and step in to support the team when required.

Working closely with the Client Services Manager and client representatives, you will lead and support the housekeeping team, coordinate staffing and rosters, monitor quality standards, manage site requirements and proactively address operational issues.

The successful candidate will take ownership of site performance and be confident working in a healthcare, mental health, aged care, disability services or similar supported-care environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day cleaning and housekeeping operations across the site, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, presentation and service are maintained.
  • Perform hands-on cleaning duties as required, working alongside the housekeeping team.
  • Lead, supervise and support cleaning staff, ensuring they understand their responsibilities, cleaning standards and performance expectations.
  • Manage staff attendance, task allocation, rosters, leave and replacement coverage to ensure all shifts are appropriately staffed.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and Templa audits, identify issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented and followed through.
  • Ensure the team complies with SCS policies, site procedures, safety requirements, PPE, chemical handling and infection control practices.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and support staff training, onboarding and ongoing development.
  • Monitor linen and consumable stock levels and arrange replenishment as required.
  • Maintain professional and proactive communication with client representatives, responding to requests and addressing concerns promptly.
  • Assist with recruitment and performance management of cleaning staff and escalate staffing or performance concerns to the Client Services Manager.
  • Review timesheets for accuracy and provide regular operational updates to the Client Services Manager on staffing, quality, compliance, client feedback and outstanding issues.
  • Take ownership of operational issues, proactively identify opportunities for improvement and ensure actions are completed and standards are maintained.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Relevant supervisory experience within the cleaning industry, ideally in a mental health, healthcare, hospital, aged care, disability services or similar supported-care environment.
  • Experience leading and coordinating a cleaning or housekeeping team.
  • A strong understanding of infection control, chemical safety and safe cleaning practices.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • The ability to work independently while effectively leading and supporting a team.
  • A professional, dependable and compassionate approach.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
  • The ability to communicate respectfully with clients, residents, staff and visitors.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take ownership of issues through to resolution.
  • A current police check and any relevant healthcare or disability screening requirements, or willingness to obtain them.
  • Appropriate work rights in Australia.

What We Offer

  • Great Place to Work® Certified for three consecutive years, recognising our commitment to our people and workplace culture.
  • Competitive salary, commensurate with experience.
  • Opportunities for career growth within a rapidly expanding company.
  • Ongoing training and professional development.
  • A supportive and collaborative working environment.
  • The opportunity to take ownership of a key site and make a meaningful contribution to service quality and client satisfaction.
