Great Southern Grammar is a vibrant independent Christian coeducational day and boarding school for students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12.

We are seeking dedicated Cleaners to join our team on a casual basis. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our educational and boarding facilities, ensuring that students and staff can thrive in a hygienic setting. As a Cleaner, you will play a vital role in upholding the standards of cleanliness and organisation within our institution.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of classrooms, hallways, and common areas.
  • Ensure all restrooms are cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications:

  • No formal education required; however, a basic understanding of cleaning practices is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a cleaning role is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
