The Role

We’re looking for a passionate Chef de Partie to join our team at Undara Experience in outback Queensland.

In this hands-on role, you will work closely with our small team in the kitchen, delivering high-quality à la carte meals at our onsite restaurant. You’ll support daily service, from prep through to plating, and help ensure a great dining experience for our guests. This is a great opportunity for a versatile chef who enjoys working in a unique, remote location with a focus on quality food and genuine hospitality.

About You

In order to be successful in this role you will need:

• A passion for Australian native ingredients and an eagerness to learn
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Experience in a similar role (for Senior CDP, leadership skills are a plus!)
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or lengthy tenure in chef role)
• Food Handling Supervisor certificate
• Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster   
• Current driver's license is highly desirable

This is a remote role, where you will be living and working at Undara. As such, please consider the reality of living in a remote location for an extended period of time. Prior to an offer of employment being made, candidates must provide authority for a Federal Police and Working with Children Clearance to disclose any criminal offences or charges. If you already have a Police Clearance valid within the last 6 months, please upload a copy to your profile.

This role may involve extensive manual handling tasks including lifting up to 20kg kneeling and squatting, as well as handling chemicals and utilising machinery.
