ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity for an energetic, passionate, and experienced tour guide/host to join our team on a casual basis and become a brand ambassador for the experiences we bring to life. You will be responsible for supporting and delivering high‑quality service to all of our guests.

Requirements

Instrumental in creating lasting memories for our guests through your knowledge and passion of our products and experiences. Your duties can vary:

  • Warm greeting for all guests joining our tours;
  • Provide knowledgeable commentary and quality guest interaction;
  • Engaging guests with knowledge about the history, geography, culture, flora and fauna of Rottnest Island;
  • Working with the team to provide feedback and product development opportunities to ensure that we are always delivering high quality products;
  • Administrative duties, including guest transfers, enquiries and up‑selling of products; and
  • Other duties as required.

Your success in this role will be achieved through excellent interpersonal skills, proactive customer focus and consistently willing to go above and beyond for our guests. You’ll have experience as a tour guide and or host within the Tourism sector. Current Senior First Aid and Police Clearance Certificate required and be willing to obtain an Approved Bar Manager Certificate.

This position will require long periods of time on your feet. The successful applicant will require flexibility with their working hours, including weekends and public holidays.

A uniform will be provided to allow you to maintain professionalism and personal presentation in line with our company personality.
