Cafe Manager

We’re a busy, well loved neighborhood cafe looking for an experienced manager to lead our team. You’ll set the tone for exceptional hospitality every day greeting regulars, training staff to deliver warm and consistent service, and filling the cafe with the smell of freshly baked pastries every morning. This is a hands on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment and takes genuine pride in both people and product.

What you’ll do

• Lead the floor with a guest first mindset, ensuring every customer leaves happy and wanting to come back
• Bake and oversee a rotating selection of fresh pastries, cakes, and baked goods in house each day
• Fostering a positive and productive work environment for the cafe team
• Manage rosters, ordering, stock control, and daily cash reconciliation
• Developing and implementing strategies to drive sales, improve profitability, and enhance the customer experience
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and food hygiene regulations

About you

• Proven experience managing a cafe, restaurant, or hospitality venue
• A natural people person who leads by example and brings energy to every shift with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Organised and cool under pressure during a busy service
• Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
