Wanted - Casual Baristas - The Phantom of The Opera

The Fresh Collective is recruiting experienced Baristas for one of Sydney’s most iconic annual events - Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour, featuring this year’s production of The Phantom of the Opera.

Set within the Royal Botanic Gardens overlooking Sydney Harbour, this is not your average cafe shift.

You’ll be working against a backdrop of sunset skies, harbour lights and a high-energy crowd attending one of the city’s biggest cultural events.

We are seeking confident baristas available from 23rd March to 3rd May, with Evening Availability. Perfect for hospitality professionals looking to pick up extra hours.

About You: 

• Minimum 6 months’ experience as a barista in a busy cafe or event environment
• Confident working in high-volume, fast-paced service
• Consistent in delivering high-quality coffee in a busy environment 
• Available for evening shifts throughout the event period
• Current NSW RSA
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
• Valid Australian working rights

The Role 

• Prepare and serve high volumes of coffee while maintaining consistency
• Work as part of a team in a fast-paced unique outdoor harbour setting
• Evening shifts from approximately 5pm to 9pm
  

 There may be ongoing casual work on offer in the events team for the right candidates.
