About the opportunity

The Unit of Academic Registrar is looking for a highly motivated and self-driven Timetable Officer to join their high performing team. In this role, you will provide a range of administrative services and operational support to the team. You will be required to prepare documents, records, and web materials, respond to queries, assess, and process a variety of applications, and source solutions related to the effective delivery of student administration services.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • provide general administrative services and operational support to the Timetabling Unit

  • build effective relationships and work collaboratively with all staff in the Timetabling team and staff in other SAS areas

  • develop appropriate organizational knowledge in self and others to ensure consistency in the provision of advice and quality administration

  • contribute to the on-going development and updates of the Student Centre knowledgebase.

About you

  • excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in managing a wide range of enquiries and providing excellent customer service

  • well-developed negotiation, conflict resolution, relationship building and influencing skills

  • strong problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative and exercise sound judgement and ability to prioritise workload during busy period

  • sound data accuracy and numeracy skills.
