These Guest Services front line stars can be found helping out all across the mountain, whether it’s answering enquiries in the village or assisting with lift access at the chairlift they greet every day with a smile! The Outdoor Host Supervisor, with the support of the Outdoor Operations Manager, will autonomously prioritise workload, offer support to outdoor ambassadors to deliver and maintain a high standard of customer service. You will have foresight to adapt operational requirements to better the guest experience. Within this role you will assist with recruitment, deliver training and take on administrational duties to maintain an engaged team of hosts and guides. About the role Deliver exceptional guest experiences by resolving issues, sharing resort knowledge, and ensuring high service standards. Support staff training through plans, manuals, with a hands-on delivery to maintain skill levels and high quality of service. Assist with outdoor programs, adapt plans based on weather and participate in development of rescue and evacuation processes. Supervise, support, and guide outdoor hosts, deliver lead daily briefs, monitor performance, and promote a positive team culture. Oversee day-to-day outdoor operations, manage crowds, and uphold all safety and emergency procedures. Assist with hiring, onboarding, and creating rosters whilst managing admin tasks and ensure smooth team operations.   Skills & Experience Experience in Tourism-based customer service role Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Previous experience and/ or appropriate level of training in supervising others Strong communication and conflict resolution skills Attention to detail in a multitask environment     About Thredbo Thredbo is Australia’s premier year-round alpine destination.
