The opportunity

A leading Australia based consultancy are looking for 2 SQL Database developers to join an ongoing project. You'll be working directly within the client's technical team, owning database development and performance work across a SQL Server environment. 

Your day-to-day will include:

• Creating and enhancing stored procedure scripts
• Designing and implementing indexing strategies
• Identifying performance bottlenecks at the design stage and re-engineering where needed
• Resolving live performance issues and supporting ongoing improvements
• Additional database activities as prioritised and directed by the client team

• Solid hands-on experience with SQL Server 2019 or 2022
• Practical experience with Azure SQL Managed Instance
• .NET experience in a database development context

• Flyway for database deployments
• Experience working in Azure-heavy environments
