We are looking for a Sous Chef who is ready to step up, lead from the front, and bring creativity, consistency, and energy to our kitchen.
The Role: Sous Chef (Full Time)
Working alongside our Head Chef, you will play a key role in running a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen where quality, teamwork and innovation go hand in hand.

What Your Day Will Look Like
No two days are the same, but you will be:
- Leading daily kitchen operations and supporting the Head Chef
- Ensuring high food quality, consistency, and presentation
- Managing stock, ordering, and food cost control
- Maintaining strong food safety and HACCP standards
- Coaching and developing colleagues
- Assisting with rostering and workforce planning (HIGA)
- Collaborating with other departments to deliver seamless service
- Stepping in wherever needed - because great teams back each other
What You will Bring
- 3–5 years’ experience as a Sous Chef or similar in a high-volume kitchen
- Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery (preferred)
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Solid understanding of food safety, HACCP, and compliance standards
- Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
