Sous Chef

We’re seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis, supporting our Head Chef in leading the kitchen operations across multiple outlets and ensuring a high-quality dining experience for every guest.
Your day-to-day impact
Oversee daily kitchen operations, preparing, cooking and presenting high-quality dishes.
Maintain exceptional standards of food hygiene, health, and safety.
Support the Head Chef with menu planning, ordering, stock control, and cost management.
Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff to deliver excellence in service and teamwork.
Collaborate with front-of-house and resort management to ensure a seamless dining experience.
Monitor equipment, manage maintenance, and uphold kitchen cleanliness and compliance standards.
Contribute to menu innovation and the delivery of exceptional guest satisfaction results.
What you’ll bring to the team
Formal Cookery qualifications such as a Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery with a minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
Proven experience in a similar Sous Chef or senior kitchen role in a restaurant or hotel kitchen.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to train and inspire others.
Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage operations, including food safety and quality standards.
A hands-on approach and ability to thrive in a dynamic resort environment.
Highly effective verbal communication skills.
Current National Police Clearance or ability to obtain with us.
