Stitch a little joy into someone's day, weave new friendships and create meaningful connections, one visit at a time! 

We're looking for a warm and friendly volunteer companion to spend time with a lovely Italian lady who enjoys good conversation, creativity, and sharing life's simple pleasures.

A talented former dressmaker, she loves sewing and enjoys reading, painting, cooking, socialising, and watching her favourite classic TV show, Murder, She Wrote.

If you enjoy creative hobbies and sharing stories over a cuppa, apply today and help sew together a wonderful new friendship!

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

Requirements

18 years or older • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare •
We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for an hour visit between 9am and 5pm Monday to Sunday, visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.
