Senior Barista with Basic Cocktail Skills

Work at the Art Gallery of NSW museum cafe, delivering high-volume, high-quality coffee in a fast-paced cafe. We are looking for an experienced barista who can run the coffee bar independently, with coffee as the priority and light bartending service required.

The café is open 7 days; 10am to 4pm / Wednesdays 10am to 8pm

Role

• High volume consistent coffees with strong Latte Art
• Run the coffee bar independently 
• Make some classic cocktails, serve wines and beers (follow recipe)
• Provide exceptional service to all customers
• Assisting in on-site functions and events (beverages)

Requirements

• Ideally 12 months experience as a senior barista, confident running the bar independently
• Experienced in making classic cocktails 
• Wednesday evening (until 8pm) availability and weekends 
• Manage beverage stock – conduct stock take, ordering, rotation
• Quick and efficient
• Well presented with a great work ethic
• In possession of valid Australian working rights
• A current NSW RSA
