At Miroma Hostel in Cummins, aged care is genuinely personal. As a Residential Aged Care Worker with the Eyre and Far North Local Health Network (EFNLHN), you'll be part of a small, close-knit team delivering hands-on support to older residents in a rural community that truly knows its own. This is a part-time, ongoing role on a 7 day roster - a meaningful opportunity to make a real difference in the daily lives of people who call Miroma home.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Providing person-centred personal care, including hygiene, mobility assistance, and meal support, in line with each resident's individual care plan
  • Observing and reporting changes in residents' health, behaviour, or wellbeing to nursing and clinical staff
  • Supporting residents to engage in daily activities that promote independence, dignity, and social connection
  • Contributing to a safe environment by following SA Health infection control, manual handling, and workplace safety protocols

What You'll Bring

  • A Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent qualification, or demonstrated equivalent experience in a residential aged care setting
  • Understanding of person-centred care principles and resident rights
  • Clear and respectful communication with residents, families, and multidisciplinary team members
  • Commitment to SA Health's values of integrity, respect, and care for every individual
  • Current First Aid certificate, or willingness to obtain one prior to commencement
