The Opportunity
Hybrid working model: 1-day WFH / 4-days on-site
Monday to Friday roster
As Reservations Manager, you will lead the end-to-end reservations function, ensuring every booking reflects precision, care and a high-touch guest experience. Combining strong commercial acumen with a guest-first mindset, you will drive occupancy, optimise revenue and set the tone for the guest journey before arrival.
You will also play a key leadership role—developing your team, refining processes and aligning closely with revenue, sales and operations teams to maximise performance.
Key responsibilities:
Drive revenue and occupancy performance through effective yield management, forecasting, and smart inventory distribution.
Maximise conversion and guest experience by ensuring seamless, responsive reservations processes before arrival.
Analyse trends and influence strategy using strong business acumen, reporting, and communication skills.
Collaborate across departments (revenue, sales, marketing) to align pricing, promotions, and overall hotel strategy.
What you’ll bring:
2+ years’ experience in hotels (Reservations, Front Office or Duty Management)
Strong understanding of yield management, forecasting and revenue optimisation
Experience with Opera Cloud or similar PMS, and confident use of MS Office
Proven ability to analyse data and translate insights into performance outcomes
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Strong attention to detail, organisation and ability to manage competing priorities
A guest-first mindset with a focus on service quality and conversion
Unrestricted working rights in Australia, with eligibility to work without sponsorship
