Job Description

The Reception and Front of House Coordinator is the welcoming face of AFCA, delivering high‑quality front‑of‑house services from our Sydney CBD office on George Street. In this role, you’ll help create a warm, inclusive and professional experience for everyone who visits or connects with AFCA, reflecting our commitment to fairness.

This position does require you to work onsite at our Sydney office. The role is permanent and we can consider full-time or part-time (4 days per week) options. 

Typically, in this role you will:

  • Welcome AFCA staff and visitors, providing support in using the amenities of our office.
  • Administer Registration of visitors in accordance with AFCA’s security and access policy
  • Maintain Boardroom and meeting room facilities.
  • Registration and coordination of maintenance contractors in accordance with AFCA's contractor policy.
  • Coordination of daily office cleaning services.
  • Organise and coordinate catering and supplies as required for meetings and events.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and ordering of office stationery and other office consumables as required.
  • Coordinate all incoming and outgoing courier services.
  • Operate in a hands-on and people first environment with exposure to key stakeholders

Qualifications

  • A positive and friendly approach that aligns with AFCA’s values and culture.
  • Previous experience in Reception, Concierge, or Hospitality is beneficial—but we welcome those eager to learn and grow.
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently and professionally.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team that thrives on collective effort and common purpose
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Well-developed organisational and time management skills to keep things running smoothly.
