Located in Woolwich NSW, Cucinetta is an Italian restaurant currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Pastrycook to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing, baking, and finishing a variety of pastries, cakes, desserts, breads, and other baked products
  • Measuring, mixing, and preparing ingredients in accordance with recipes and quality standards
  • Monitoring baking times and temperatures to ensure product consistency and quality
  • Decorating and presenting pastry products to a high standard
  • Assisting in the development of seasonal desserts and pastry menu items
  • Ensuring ingredients are correctly stored, labelled, and rotated
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the pastry section in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards
  • Assisting with stock control, ordering ingredients, and minimising waste
  • Operating and maintaining baking equipment safely and efficiently
  • Working collaboratively with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure efficient service
About You:
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience as a Pastrycook or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of pastry preparation, baking techniques, and dessert production
  • Ability to prepare a wide variety of pastries and baked goods to a high standard
  • Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary: $79,000 - $95,000 per annum
