Kitchen Hand/Cleaner

We are seeking energetic and experienced Kitchen Hand/Cleaners to join our team at Aegis Alfred Carson in Claremont for a variety of available shifts.

• Enjoys working with the elderly.
• Can work independently and as part of a team.
• Is reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
• Has availability and flexibility to work a variety of shifts across weekdays and weekends.
• Has good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Preparing and serving residents' meals according to dietary and care plans in accordance with developed menus.
• Maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment in accordance with infection control standards.
• Ensuring correct food handling techniques are always observed.

• At least 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the healthcare or aged care industry.
• Experience in food preparation and cooking for large numbers of people.
• Knowledge of food safety principles and procedures.
• Full Australian working rights and the ability to obtain a National Police Clearance.
• Knowledge of infection control principles and commercial cleaning operations, including the safe use of chemicals.
