About You
If you've worked as a kitchen hand before, ideally somewhere busy with more than one outlet, we'd love to hear from you. You're happy working on your own and you enjoy being part of a team. If you can work across a 7-day rotating roster, that's a bonus.
About the Role
You'll report to our Executive Chef and help keep the kitchen running smoothly and safely in line with food safety standards. Day to day, you'll:
- Work alongside the kitchen and service team washing crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment
- Help keep everything clean and sanitised to government standards, including the compactor, recycling area, benchtops, fridges and storerooms
- Look after our equipment through correct handling and cleaning
- Lend a hand with food preparation, storage and rotation
- Help us keep up the food quality standards in our kitchen policies and procedures
