About the opportunity

We are currently seeking a reliable Laundry Assistant to join our Accommodation Service team at our Moran Kellyville home. Avaliable shifts include: Wednesday and Friday - 07:00am to 15:00pm.

This role will assist the facility in maintaining the highest possible standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the residence with a strong focus on minimising health risks and maximising safety.

We provide a welcoming and enjoyable work environment, with modern facilities and the equipment and resources needed to do excel in your role. Education specific to aged care is provided.

Key Duties:

  • Ensure all laundry requirements are met each shift
  • Clean allocated area that includes bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas
  • Follow cleaning schedule and complete records
  • Replenish supplies and set up cleaning trolleys
  • Be aware of, and provide Infection Prevention & Control
  • Always interact with the residents in friendly, helpful and positive manner
  • Ensure the home is clean to high standards
  • Meet safety, quality, and hygiene standards

Skills/Requirements:

  • Dedication to providing a high standard of care and service
  • Ability to work positively in a team with your colleagues
  • Valid working visa
  • Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current Influenza and COVID-19 vaccination including booster
  • Highly organised with strong planning skills
