Contract Role | February 2026 - April 2027

Mount Annan Christian College is seeking to appoint a friendly, proactive and customer service–driven individual to join our Operations team in a Hospitality Support role.

This role supports all facets of hospitality across the College, with a primary focus on the newly purchased mobile coffee/food cart, as well as the Café and Canteen. The successful applicant will consistently deliver high-quality customer service to students, staff, parents, visitors and contractors.

With an immediate start, this role involves working Monday to Friday (approximately 30.4 hours per week). This is a contract position from February 2026 to April 2027, with work required during College term times as well as designated non-term periods.

This role will see you responsible for:

  • Preparing and serving meals, snacks and beverages in the College mobile coffee/food cart, café, canteen and at College events, as required
  • Preparing coffee orders for contractors and subcontractors via the mobile coffee/food cart, and for staff, students, parents and visitors at the café and canteen
  • Assisting with the setup, services and pack down of catering for College events and meetings
  • Monitoring stock levels, assisting with unpacking deliveries and helping with rotating and storing supplies correctly
  • Operating point of sale system and managing cash transactions
  • Providing friendly and efficient services to students, staff and visitors promoting a welcoming and respectful environment

 More specifically, the successful candidate will have:

  • Barista experience (essential)
  • Experience in the hospitality industry
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to build, foster and maintain good relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to manage competing priorities
  • Works well in a team and individually

Applicants must hold a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) prior to commencement of employment. Be a committed Christian with a strong understanding of your faith and involvement in their local Church and be willing to assent to the College Statement of Faith.
