Job Description

Gaming Manager | Norfolk Tavern

Are you a gaming specialist who knows how to deliver a "Best in Class" experience? The Norfolk Tavern is looking for a dedicated Gaming Manager to own our premier gaming lounge and lead a team that is famous for its service and standards.

"The Norfolk" is a local engine room, and our gaming room is at the heart of our success. We aren't looking for someone to just sit behind a desk, we need a floor-focused leader who lives for player engagement, obsesses over room presentation, and knows exactly how to drive growth in a competitive market.

A day in the life of a Gaming Manager:

  • Know the regulars by name and make them feel right at home
  • Work closely with the Publican to keep the room running smoothly, safely, and within all the rules
  • Share your gaming know-how and help your team be the best in the biz
  • Bring the good vibes, great service, and friendly smiles every shift

Inherent requirements:

  • This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About you:

  • You’ve been in the gaming room world for a while, as an attendant, supervisor, or manager
  • You’ve learned from great managers and are ready to step up
  • You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the gaming room
  • You understand compliance and safe gaming inside out
  • You’ve got a current RSA and RSG/RCG as per state requirements

If you’re all about great service, happy players, and running a top-notch gaming room – we’d love to chat.

The benefits are good too!
