What we need from you
Required Skills
• A high energy level and a passion for guest service
• A passion for delivering superior results
• Have the ability to take ownership of leading the team, ensuring guest satisfaction and seamless
execution of event as per guest's requirements.
• Previous experience in a hotel or similar environment is highly desirable.
• A true passion for food & beverage, the hospitality industry and exceeding guest expectations.
• A team player with a positive, can do attitude and strong drive for results whilst working closely with
the Food & Beverage Attendant colleagues.
• Proactive with problem solving and making smart decisions.
• Highly developed interpersonal and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work across a range of outlet areas during each shift, multi-tasking and prioritising is
essential.
• Well organised, planning in advance, ability to adapt and work within operational situation changes.
• Holds a valid Responsible Service of Alcohol and Food Handlers certificates.
• Commitment with flexibility to work a rotational roster that includes early mornings starting at 6.30am,
afternoons, late evenings when working in Conference & Events sometimes until 1.00 am or 2.00
am, weekends and public holidays, are all part of the job expectations working in the hospitality
industry.
• Current valid working rights in Australia.
Qualifications – either completed or currently studying;
• Diploma in Hotel or Hospitality Management and/or
• Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Administration, Business Administration or equivalent
Experience
• Minimum 2 years of demonstrated high quality guest service experience
• Experience working with a diverse team of Food & Beverage Attendants and demonstrated
leadership capabilities
• Competent using Point of Sale Infosys, Property Management System Opera V5, Futurelog ordering
sytem
