Located a short walk from Circular Quay train, bus and light rail interchange, among the cobblestone laneways of The Rocks district in a quirky heritage building, you will find the delightful Sydney Harbour Hotel. Offering 176 rooms and a relaxed restaurant and lobby bar, we are located centrally offering a quintessential Sydney experience. 

Role Purpose:

As a Food and Beverage Attendant, you will provide approachable and engaging customer experience whilst providing service in breakfast, in room dining, dinner and behind the bar. This role will develop your skills and experience and offers casual hours across a varied but flexible roster.

You will assist in curating the guest experience by:

  • Providing our guests with a positive dining experience, with a smile
  • Providing table service and taking orders
  • Serve cocktails, beers, wines and spirits
  • Making barista quality coffee  
  • Some experience in Ala Carte style service
  • Assist with bar service and In Room Dining 
  • Flexibility in working hours as business required 
  • An enthusiasm to work across all Food & Beverage departments

Skills and experience:

Your many talents include:

  • Prior experience in Food & Beverage, Bar and/or Barista positions 
  • Availability across a rotating roster, including weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Whilst previous Hotel experience would be useful, it's not a deal-breaker
  • Hold a current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) Certificate for NSW
  • Available to start asap 
  • Great people skills with a good team focus 
  • Well organised with a flexible, diligent attitude
  • Current working rights in Australia
