Purpose
As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will support the Head of Department in driving operational performance across multiple outlets. You will lead by example, ensuring consistent, high-quality service while developing your team and contributing to a profitable and well-executed operation.
Primary Responsibilities
Supervise daily operations across Republic Tavern, Trader Restaurant, and Conference & Events
Lead and support team members to deliver friendly, efficient, and professional service
Allocate duties and manage team performance during service to maximise productivity
Conduct pre-service briefings and support post-service reviews where required
Assist with training, onboarding, and ongoing development of team members
Maintain strong communication across departments, particularly with the kitchen, to ensure smooth service delivery
Ensure all outlets are set and ready for service in line with operational standards
Support stock control, ordering, and maintaining par levels
Monitor labour and assist with rostering in line with business levels and budget expectations
Assist with daily reporting and reconciliation of takings
Handle guest feedback, enquiries, and complaints in a professional and solution-focused manner
Ensure compliance with licensing, WHS, and food safety requirements at all times
Leadership & Culture
Lead by example, demonstrating Accor values and Heartist culture in all interactions
Support a positive, inclusive team environment focused on development and accountability
Coach and mentor team members to build capability across multiple service styles
Step into a leadership role in the absence of senior management when required
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a supervisory role within hospitality or hotel environment
Strong operational knowledge across food & beverage service styles
Confident in leading teams in fast-paced, high-volume environments
Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills
Strong guest focus with the ability to resolve issues effectively
RSA required
Flexibility to work across a rotating roster including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
