Location: Marsden Park & Casula, NSW

Job Summary: As Floor Staff at our sushi restaurant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing the dining area, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for our guests. This role requires strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

We are currently prioritising applicants available to work weekends; however, if you're available across both weekends and weekdays, we'd love to hear from you too.

Requirements:

• Greet and seat guests promptly and courteously. Provide detailed information about the menu, answer questions, and make recommendations based on guests' preferences.
• Take and accurately process food and beverage orders. Relay orders to the kitchen and ensure timely delivery to the guests.
• Serve food and beverages to tables, ensuring that all dishes are presented beautifully and meet quality standards. Check in with guests to address any needs or concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including setting and clearing tables, cleaning spills, and ensuring that utensils and condiments are stocked.
• Handling Payments: Process guest payments accurately and efficiently. Handle cash and credit transactions in accordance with the restaurant's policies.
• Work closely with kitchen staff and other floor staff to ensure smooth operations and effective communication. Assist colleagues as needed to maintain a positive and efficient work environment.
• Address and resolve any guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally. Escalate concerns to a manager if necessary.
• Follow health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.

Job Type:

• Part time, weekend shifts must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays
• Full time hours available for applicants who can also work weekdays
