We are currently seeking candidates specifically for our afternoon and night‑shift rosters.
The Position
Assists with safe and tidy storage of supplies within the unit.
Performs housekeeping duties throughout the unit in accordance with Statement of Duties and Cleaning Standards Victorian Health Facilities.
Ensure that the patient room is presented as per hospital standards.
Participate as a valued team member promoting and contributing to a supportive team environment.
Communicate effectively with all caregivers, customers and patients using the appropriate channels, utilising appropriate formal and informal channels of communication.
Participate in the documentation of Risk Assessments and Standard Operating Procedures for activities that could pose an OHS risk.
Working in a supportive team environment you will have basic knowledge of chemical usage and effective communication skills.
You will bring knowledge of safe work practices, infection control, and housekeeping standards, as well as high‑quality cleaning skills and experience using cleaning equipment.
To succeed in this role, you will be able to plan and prioritise your work effectively, demonstrate strong organisational skills, and be willing to work additional or alternative shifts when required.

What we can offer:
Salary: $33.40 to $34.75 per hour, plus 12% superannuation
