We have multiple OOSH locations across the Northern Rivers, with this role primarily based at our Lismore service.

Rainbow Region Kids, a program of Northern Rivers Community Gateway, is currently hiring Outside School Hours Care (OOSH) Educators for our vibrant Before and After School Care and Vacation Care services across the Northern Rivers.
We’re offering permanent part-time positions, with a minimum of 27.5 hours per week, with opportunities for additional hours during our busy vacation care periods.
About the RoleAs an Educator, you will:
Support the planning and delivery of engaging, child-centred programs aligned with the My Time, Our Place Framework
Foster respectful, supportive relationships with children
Ensure a safe, inclusive, and fun environment in line with the National Quality Framework
Assist with routines, care, supervision, and learning opportunities across structured and free play activities
Collaborate with a passionate and professional team to provide high-quality care across multiple school sites
A guaranteed minimum 27.5 hours per week for part-time roles
Bonus leave in December for permanent staff

Essential
We welcome applications from anyone interested in working with children
Ability to work effectively under supervision and as part of a team
Understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and My Time Our Place learning framework
Ability to develop meaningful and respectful relationships with children
Awareness of child development and the role of structured and unstructured activities
Commitment to child safety, wellbeing and inclusive practices
Desirable
Experience using digital childcare platforms (e.g. OWNA)
NSW Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable vehicle
Current NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC)
National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
First Aid in Education and Care Setting (Provided!)
Completion of, or willingness to complete, a recognised Child Protection course (Provided)
