The Role We are seeking experienced Shift Supervisors / Duty Managers to join the opening team at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co Sandgate. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for supporting daily venue operations, leading service teams, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

You will play a key role in motivating the team, maintaining operational standards, and creating a positive, energetic atmosphere while supporting the successful launch of the venue.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service
  • Support daily venue operations across front of house service areas
  • Assist with shift coordination, team development, and staffing support
  • Deliver exceptional guest experiences and resolve customer concerns professionally
  • Maintain strong menu and product knowledge to support guests and team members
  • Ensure smooth service operations within a fast-paced full table service environment
  • Support training, mentoring, and knowledge sharing across the team
  • Collaborate with kitchen, bar, and management teams to maintain service standards
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness, presentation, and operational compliance
  • Work efficiently within QR ordering and table service systems
  • Prioritise tasks effectively while managing multiple responsibilities during service periods

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ supervisory experience in food and beverage operations
  • Strong experience in fast-paced full table service environments
  • Ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and public holidays
  • Strong customer service and team leadership skills
  • Full Australian working rights

Highly Desirable

  • Experience in themed or entertainment-driven venues
  • First Aid / Training qualifications
