Re-emerging as a premium apartment hotel in one of Sydney’s most vibrant waterfront locations.Located on King Street Wharf, just moments from Barangaroo, ICC Sydney and the CBD, the hotel offers 114 spacious studios and apartments designed to give guests the comfort, flexibility and space to stay their own way.This is a rare opportunity to join the team ahead of reopening and help shape the guest experience from day one.About the roleAs Duty Manager, you’ll lead Front Office operations and oversee the day-to-day running of the hotel, ensuring each guest experience feels smooth, considered and easy.You’ll be confident on the floor, calm under pressure, and focused on creating stays that feel personal and well taken care of.What you’ll be doingLeading the floor - You’re the steady hand at the centre of it all. You’ll lead daily Front Office operations with confidence and calm, keeping everything moving seamlessly while guiding and supporting the team. When pressure builds or priorities shift, you’re the one who steps forward, making decisions, setting the tone, and ensuring the floor runs like clockwork.Owning the guest experience - You don’t just respond to guests, you anticipate them. You read the moment, pick up on the detail’s others might miss, and turn expectations into effortless experiences. Whether it’s a simple request or a complex issue, you handle it with speed, care, and genuine ownership, making sure every guest leaves with the right impression, even when things don’t go to plan.Keeping the team connected - You’re the connector across Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Food & Beverage, making sure nothing gets lost in translation. You keep communication sharp, alignment strong, and standards consistent, so every room, every handover, and every guest touchpoint reflect the brand at its best.Running it with precision - Behind the scenes, you bring structure to the moving parts. From reservations and SOPs to financial accuracy and reporting, you treat the details with care and discipline. You understand that excellence lives in consistency, and you take pride in getting it right, every time.About youYou’re someone who enjoys hospitality and knows how to make people feel welcome.
