Role Purpose:

We are looking for a skilled Demi Chef and an ambitious Commi Chef. You will be inspired to produce the highest quality food experience for our guests working with and for an exceptional brigade and creating flavors with vibrancy and excitement.    

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth preparation and service
  • Prepare, cook and present dishes consistently to brand and menu standards
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment, adhering to food hygiene and safety standards
  • Assist with stock rotation, storage and minimising waste
  • Contribute ideas for menu development, specials and seasonal offerings
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to deliver an exceptional dining experience
  • Take ownership of assigned sections, ensuring readiness for service
  • Uphold company values and standards of professionalism at all times

Skills and experience:

We are seeking individuals with passion for food and who are driven and creative and display:

  • Academic achievement with a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery 
  • A creative and varied portfolio of cooking experience in high end kitchens 
  • The inherent ability to manage relevant stock levels 
  • An ambition on sustainable practices - farm to table sourcing
  • A healthy respect for workplace health and safety practices and procedures
