As the Demi Chef in Nineteen at The Star, you will be given the responsibility of supporting our Chef de Cuisine to ensure consistency in high quality product and service standards. 

A few of your responsibilities:

• Assist the Chef de Cuisine in the day-to-day running of the Nineteen kitchen
• Take ownership of your designated workstation
• Ensure the quality and consistency of all food leaving the kitchen
• Support the Commis chefs and Apprentice Chefs in the brigade

What are we looking for:

• Proven experience as a Chef in high-end, fine dining kitchen 
• Certificate in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
• Flexible availability over a 7-day roster
• Comprehensive knowledge of various cooking techniques, international cuisines, and food preparation methods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Passion for culinary arts and a drive for continuous learning and improvement.
