Oracle Database Engineer

Contract role: 8 months - potential to convert to permanent after 2-3 months
Location: Sydney, NSW
Rate: up to $730 per day including super (depending on experience)

About the Client:

Our client is a multinational corporation that provides information technology, consulting, and business process services to a range of clients across Government, Financial Services, Telecommunications, Retail and more.

They currently have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Oracle Database Engineer for one of their clients to design and manage relational and non-relational database schemas across Oracle, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Database Engineer, you will be accountable for database setup, schema optimisation, data integrity, and assisting data migration into new cloud platforms under strict security controls.

Required Experience:
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong skills in Oracle databases, data modelling, migration scripts, and data transformation. Excellent communication skills are also essential.
