Ozcare has a Part-time permanent position available for a Cook at our beautiful Aged Care facility in Burleigh Heads. Your Role As a Cook you'll be looking after the most important people in our organisation - our clients. Your tasks will include:  Prepare, cook and serve meals in line with corporate menus, recipes and dietary requirements Ensure all meals meet IDDSI and texture-modified needs  Follow safe food handling, hygiene and infection control standards Monitor and comply with Workplace Health and Safety and Environmental practices  Your Attributes We're looking for a person who has what it takes to support our aged care team to deliver exceptional services to our clients. Demonstrated previous cooking experience for aged care residents would be an advantage Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of IDDSI and texture- modified food preparation Ability to work across all areas of the kitchen Be vaccinated against Influenza & at least 1 dose of Covid-19 vaccine Hold a current Police Screening Certificate or current NDIS screening card Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (where applicable) Current First Aid & CPR training Certificates We're hiring smiles.
